Our 100% organic goji berries are dark-red in colour and have a characteristic tart and sour taste with slight herbal notes. They are unprocessed and do not contain any chemical additives. As a superfood, they are valued for their ability to stabilise blood sugar levels and support healthy immune functions. Goji berries also contain high levels of antioxidants, such as carotenoids and Vitamin C. Our organic goji berries undergo extensive analyses, including multi-residual analyses, to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
Organic dried goji berries are sometimes also referred to as wolfberries. They are won from the Lycium barbarum fruit, which is native to Asia. Thanks to their powerful nutritional properties, they have been used in alternative medicine in China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam for centuries. Our organic goji berries undergo a strict selection process. They are machine dried for 6-12 hours before being separated by size and sorted by colour. The resulting final selection is then hand-picked before being weighed, sealed, and bagged.
