Our 100% certified organic vegan chocolate drops are made from organic dark chocolate sweetened with coconut blossom sugar. They are dark brown with a characteristic chocolatey flavour. Our organic cacao drops are also sweetened with coconut blossom sugar. The addition of coconut cream creates a light brown colour and milky chocolate flavour. Our organic cacao butter drops are sweetened with coconut blossom sugar. The addition of coconut cream and almond protein makes for a creamy colour. Their flavour is characteristically coconutty.
Cacao is won from the dried and fermented seeds of the Theobroma cacao plant which is endemic to South and Central America. Originating in Mesoamerican cuisine, cacao has since established itself as a key ingredient in Western confectionery foods. Chocolate drops are particularly popular in baking because of their distinct texture. They can be melted down to be part of a batter but also left in their natural form, such as in cookies, to add little bites of goodness.
