Dates are the fruit of the Phoenix dactylifera plant (alias the date palm tree), which is native to the Middle East. Our 100% organic dates come in pitted form, making them ideal for processing and consumption, or the natural unpitted form. They are gluten-free and vegan, and can be repackaged for direct consumption or utilized as an ingredient in the food industry for further manufacturing. It is possible to create mixtures of different qualities under request.
Although dates originated in Middle Eastern cuisines, where they naturally still play a prominent role today, they have established themselves as an ingredient and a snack the world over. There are 30 types of dates, and their sweetness and texture vary between species.
