Brazil nuts are the edible seeds of the Bertholletia tree, which is native to South America. The tree is classified as one of the longest-living plants in tropical rainforests. Our 100% organic shelled Brazil nuts are valued for their high levels of protein, monosaturated fat, magnesium, zinc, calcium and vitamins. They are shelled, making them ideal for consumption on their own as a snack, or as an ingredient in a variety of health foods. Their skin is light to dark brown in colour, and their firm meat is a creamy shade of white.
