Our 100% certified organic dried cranberries have been infused with an organic apple concentrate solution. The cranberries are dark brown to reddish in colour with a characteristic cranberry flavour. Their consistency is firm, and they are sliced and ready for direct consumption. Our organic cranberries are a good source of dietary fibre, manganese and vitamins C, E and K.
Cranberries are endemic to northeastern North America, where they are still cultivated in vast numbers today. They are harvested in autumn after the first frost. In the processing stage, cranberries are usually cleaned and stored before being packaged. Because they are relatively sour, infusing them with apple juice is a natural way of creating a sweeter flavour.
